Mardi Gras Bash

We’re letting the good times roll through the Children’s Museum of Memphis on Saturday, February 14, from 10 a – 2 p at our annual Mardi Gras Bash.

Children will be surrounded by the sights and sounds of the festivities, including:

• Adorn your mask or crown with shimmering gold, vibrant green, and royal purple to capture the spirit of Mardi Gras.
• Hit the dance floor and move to the lively Cajun beats spun by the DJ, or jump in to help the dancing man discover his rhythm.
• Let your creativity shine as you decorate your float, then prepare to roll out and join the Mardi Gras parade.
• Spend time in the robotics session to help route the parade.
• Settle in on the carpet and listen as the tale unfolds of a weary old alligator and his legendary pot of gumbo.
• Have fun earning a prize at the scavenger hunt as you seek Louisiana’s swamp creatures.
• Jump into a round of king-cake musical chairs and celebrate your sweet victory.
• Free candy and carousel rides.

Free for members / General admission plus $3 for nonmembers.
