The Questioneers: Read. Question. Think. Play!

The Questioneers book series, written by Andrea Beaty and illustrated by David Roberts, celebrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math, perseverance, and passion.

Like the characters, Iggy Peck, Rosie Revere, Ada Twist, Sofia Valdez, and Aaron Slater, every budding architect, engineer, scientist, mathematician, artist, and leader, will find inspiration to solve everyday mysteries and to think more critically about their world. Most importantly, they will learn that despite inevitable challenges, they should always continue to “Read. Question. Think.” — and never give up on their dreams.

Iggy Peck, Architect: Iggy has one passion: architecture. Either from his imagination or inspired by famous structures around the world, nothing is too complicated for Iggy to construct.

  • Explore balance and construction techniques while creating a bridge from Blue River Creek to the island where Iggy and his classmates went for a picnic.

Ada Twist, Scientist: Ada Twist’s head is full of questions. She has always been endlessly curious.

  • Explore the scientific method while exploring Ada’s shelves. What happens when you push a button? What happens if you push all the buttons? Practice trial and error and record your results on the giant graph paper next to Ada’s shelves.

Sofia Valdez, Future Pres: A dreamer, a doer, a real-life go-getter, Sofia does as much as she can for her

community.

  • Immerse yourself in the steps needed. Be bold and brave! Pick one die from the shelf and roll it. Count forwards and backwards to make great strides. Inspire your fellow citizens, make a speech, and build a park alongside Sofia!

Rosie Revere, Engineer: Rosie dreams of becoming a great engineer. Where some people see trash, Rosie sees inspiration for her inventions.

  • Explore the properties of flight and air in Rosie’s attic while outside the window friends fly her Cheese-o-copter.
