World Music Day
Most people love a lovely melody, but is there a lasting impact from music? Because music is emotional yet structured, intellectual yet emotional and brings people together socially, we’re hosting World Music Day on May 24.
Music can get you moving and on your feet, so what genres are better to feature than instrumentalists, vocalists, hip-hop, opera, pop, and dance? The halls of CMOM will ring with music of all types – and all ages. From elementary-grade students to adult professional performers, children will have a chance to explore and engage and find the music that inspires them, that moves them, and that becomes a part of who they are.
Join us for a day of fun, engagement, entertainment, and inspiration. Saturday, May 24 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
