Earth Day – Playing it Forward with Pollinators

It’s all about the pollinators on April 20 from 10a – 2p.

Step into a larger-than-life world where you play the part of the pollinator. It’s all about the bees, butterflies, birds, bats and beetles as we celebrate Earth Day. Children are rewarded for pollinating flowers in our scavenger hunt, flapping their wings and showing off their antennae at the dance party, can build their own hummingbird feeder and butterfly house, plus a slate of hands-on playful learning activities:

  • DJ Dance party featuring bees, bats, butterflies, beetles and birds
  • Group-led dance steps dodging pollen balls and swooping up butterflies
  • Constructing individual hummingbird feeders and butterfly houses
  • Craft your own antennae and ribbon wands
  • Paint your own butterfly canvas
  • Science Corner: projects to further your understanding of pollination
  • Scavenger Hunt
  • Build a giant beehive
  • Photo opportunities galore
