Enjoy CMOM Family Nights in August!

The museum is celebrating “CMOM Family Nights” and is remaining open until 8pm on all Thursday nights in August - operating hours are 9am-8pm on those days. This is the first time in the museum’s history that it has stayed open to the public during night-time hours. Instead of the usual night of television, the museum is encouraging parents to bring their children after they get off work for a fun, relaxing and meaningful family outing. Concessions are available. A family movie is shown in the Malco 4 Kids at 6:15pm.

Children Vote for President!

Saturday, October 25, 11am-2pm

Children learn all about democracy and the election process when they vote for president of the United States! Kids enjoy this interactive voting experience by casting their ballot for president, designing a “vote for” sticker, and making a patriotic hat, a voter’s card and a voting booklet. A separate election will also be held where children vote for their favorite civil servant - a fireman, policeman, nurse or teacher. Kids also play a candidate concentration game. This museum program only takes place once every four years - during presidential elections. Don’t miss out! Election results will be tallied and sent to the media.
